About
I’m Dice Takeda, founder of Pine Oak, an investment firm focused on acquiring and leading a single B2B software or services company that delivers mission-critical value and delights customers.
I grew up in Texas and spent summers on my family’s farm in Iowa, where I learned the importance of hard work, integrity, and community. My first entrepreneurial venture began in middle school with a candy distribution business, which later evolved into a small business lending initiative during college.
Over the past decade, I’ve partnered with more than a dozen owners and CEOs, helping them navigate pivotal growth moments by accelerating sales, structuring creative financings, and guiding strategic acquisitions. At Pine Oak, I bring the same hands-on, collaborative approach to an owner preparing for the next chapter. My focus goes beyond the financials: it’s about honoring your leadership, supporting your team’s future, and growing the legacy you’ve built with care.
Personal
My most important relationships are with my family. I was fortunate to be adopted by loving parents who were generous with their time and love. Last year, I married the love of my life who has a wonderfully large family — 40 direct aunts and uncles!
